| Hello everybody! The Bonkomeizer is finally back. Georgia is behind me -or rather...to the side of me...- and I'm home. Much love to everybody who left me comments while I was gone... all two of you. I love you. I know that I said I'd be gone for two months, but God pulled me away. Honestly, I'm glad that He did. That was a long two weeks.
Sadly, however, this will be my final post on this xanga. It's been over 250 days and a whole lot of posting since I began xanga, and now I'm moving everything to send_out_the_fire. Goodbye bonky, hello firestarter.
Talk amongst yourselves.
God bless, Seth
James 1:5 If you need wisdom--if you want to know what God wants you to do--ask him, and he will gladly tell you. He will not resent your asking. | | |
| Hi there xangians....
I thought I would let ya'll know that I'll be gone for a while. Yes, chillens, I'm going to Gerogia. I'll be leaving in about 4 or 5 hours, but it's 5 am right now. Yeah, I stayed out all night tonight. It was great. By the way, Shannon, if you read this, I just wanted to say that I really wanted and tried to make it to your party. But with me leaving and all, I couldn't get there. I was with Tara and my Grandfather, and I couldn't be there with you on time. I'm really sorry. Happy Birthday, though. As soon as I can, I'll send a gift. It may only be money, but who doesn't like money?
Thanks to everyone that was praying for me. I really appreciate it. God has moved now, and He has spoken. I truly believe that this is a move that He really wants me to make. I wouldn't go if it was any different.
Anyways, Ya'll keep coming back with comments, regardless of whether or not I've updated. Hopefully I'll be able to update in a couple of weeks and tell you what's going on up there.
Jeremiah 29:11 "'For I know the plans I have for you', says the Lord, 'Plans to help you. Not harm you. Plans to give you a good future.'"
Decisions are tough. You only live this life once, and if you mess up, you usually don't get a second chance. When we try to be in control of our lives, we tend to be trying to steer a vehicle that we just don't have the vision to drive. I'm so glad that God cares enough to offer to drive for us. He has a vision that we could never even dream of having. He knows what's coming, and He even sees the things that we don't see in the present. He's a God of foresight, and a God of -most imprtantly- vision. He has plans for us; plans that take into account all the bumps, turns, and mishaps. His plans for us already have the course charted out. All we have to do is let Him drive. God is not a God that will let us stray, and He won't lead us down a wrong path. But we have to trust Him. If we don't, then what do we have? Where are we? We're on a road that leads us to destruction. Faith that doesn't believe on the Lord isn't really faith. You can believe in Him, but that's no good if you don't believe on Him. Believing on God is just simply taking God at His word, and sticking to His plan. It's tough to do, but then again, Jesus said that the road of righteousness is a narrow road. Few will walk it. However, the road was mapped out by the same One who mapped out the stars and the planets. I'll tell ya, If God can keep track of the stars, and know their location, then He can keep track of our lives and steer us for the right destination.
God bless, I'll be back home by late April or early May.
Talk amongst yourselves.

| Well how's it going everybody? Uh-huh Bonky's back wit da brand new track (record scratches...).....
Okay, so I'm not a rapper. However, I am in a dilemma. For months, I've been anxiously and eagerly awaiting for my cousin Zach to get back from Virginia and Texas so that he can come pick me up to go to Georgia, and now the wait is finally over. Thing is, I'm not as excited to go as I once was. Remember the girl I wrote about a couple of posts back? Yeah.... her name is Tara White. And we're dating. Finally. I've been waiting for this for a looooong time. Really, this is the girl of my dreams. I've wanted to date her from the moment I saw her. Now, I've got her. But I've also got the Georgia opportunity. Anyone who knows me knows that I need a job desperately, and this a great job offer. Zach wants me to go to Georgia with him and work for Direct TV as a satellite installer. It's good money, and I would get it tax free. I want this job, but I don't want to leave Tara. I mean, I would only be gone for two months, but still. It's TWO months. I don't know. I'm praying about it, and I know that God will answer me at the right time, but uncertainty is, well........ a killer. However, uncertainty is God's conditioning for faith. It's the testing ground. Uncertainty is the fertile soil that, when sown into, harvests a more intense faith in us. If we trust God when all the natural tells us is that He shouldn't even be our last hope, God honors that faith and He brings us through the storm for it. So, I guess I'll just trust the One. You know, the One they call Wonderful Counseler, Prince of Peace, Lord of Lords, Bright Morning Star. Yeah. I guess I should take my own advice here. I'll lean on Christ. But don't be afraid to shower me with comments about what you think about my..... dilemma.
Oh yeah..... and talk amongst yourselves.
God bless ya'll, Bonky | | |
| - To Whom It May Concern Alrighty then peoples...... I'm back. I know, it's been over a week. Sorry to keep you waiting.
I was going through some of my old posts, and I thought that I'd take a stroll down memory lane. Here's one of my favorite posts that I've written.
Are you enduring hardship? Do you feel bombarded or surrounded with problems? Maybe it's an unsupportive family, maybe one of your friends let you down, maybe something you were counting on didn't work out. Let me be the first to say that I know how that goes. I understand what it's like to wonder where your next paycheck is going to come from. I know how it feels when a family member let's you down, or when a "friend" lies about you and smears your name. I've even had rumors spread about me by the closest people in my family. I've been lied to, lied on, and lied about. I've been to the lowest of lows. I've endured things no person should ever have to endure. But the Word says that life is like a flower quickly fading. And although sorrow may last for the night, joy comes in the morning. Have hope. God hasn't forgotten about you. In His Word, God never guarantees that we won't endure struggle, but He did promise to be with us when we face it. The truth is, we must go through the valley to stand up on the mountain of God. And when all hope seems lost, when every one of your friends turn their backs, when your own family forsakes you, remember that God believes in you. Don't give up, and don't give in. Satan would have you think that you don't stand a chance. But remember that he is incapable of telling the truth. Of course Satan wants you to think that you don't stand a chance. If you quit, he wins. So what do you expect to hear from him? Don't listen. Stay in Christ, and if you don't know Christ, that's okay. It's easy to come to Him. In fact, at the end of this post I'll write in my e-mail address and you can contact to me if you don't know how exactly to give your life to Christ. Also, if you gave your heart to Christ but you're not living like you know should, remember that you're not so far away that you're not in Jesus' armspan. He stretched out His arms and died to cover ALL our sins. Not just a few for a little while, but all of them. No matter what you've done, no matter who you are, Christ died for you and He loves you. If life has got you down, don't be so sad. If you'll draw near to God you'll find peace that surpasses all understanding. Don't live another day without Christ. Don't go on any further not completely surrendered to Him. Hey, He's gonna win in the end anyway. Just stop fighting God, and embrace Him just the same way that He wants to embrace you. Remember, no matter how tough life gets, God is with us. There truly are brighter days ahead.
2 Corinthians 4:8-9 "We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed."
God bless each and every one of you. I love all of ya'll. My e-mail is SUPAMAN182003@yahoo.com Click on the address to send me any e-mail.

| - Sweep Me Away...(This song really envelops you.) - - - - - - Ok, xangians, time for an update. Who here likes Keanu Reeves? No one? Hmmmm..... what a surprise. Well, I like him. Did you see "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure"? Or how about "Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey"? Classics. Mr. Reeves, why can't you go back to that same type of caliber acting you did in those? Oh wait, you never changed your acting style. Whoa. Dude. Okay, let me explain. I just watched.... well, some of Keanu Reeves' new movie "Constantine". One word can describe that flick: Incorrect. The idea is that Reeves is John Constantine, a parapsychologist who turned his back on Christ, and by doing so chose eternal damnation. However, he has a gift/curse that allows him to see demons and destroy them. Hoping he can earn his way back into Heaven, he devotes his life to casting out demons and sending them back to hell.
But Constantine just doesn't get it. He must have never read Titus 3:5. It says, "He saved us, not by works, so that no man may boast, but according to His mercy....so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life."
Constantine was trying to earn his way into Heaven. You can't do that. You can't buy God. No matter how "good" a person you are, no matter how many people you help. The Bible says in Romans 10:13, "Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." It doesn't matter that you're a good person if you don't have a personal relationship with Jesus. He died to have communion with you. Your works are good, and you shouldn't don't stop doing them, but they are worthless if you don't know Christ. Hugh Heffner, chairman of the Playboy company, is a very charitable man. He gives millions of dollars to all kinds of organizations like the "Make A Wish" foundation, but if he doesn't live for Christ, then he isn't gonna get into Heaven. A lot of people think that doing good works and being a good person will get them into Heaven, but Matthew 7:14 says, "For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it." A lot of people who think they're going to Heaven will not go because although they are good people, and they do good things, they don't have a personal and intimate relationship with Christ. Constantine thought that by casting out devils and sending them back to Hell he could earn his way into Heaven. He was wrong. God's word is His word. Matthew 24:35, "The heavens and the earth will pass away, but My word will never pass away." The Lord said that you have to know Jesus in order to get into Heaven. That will never change.
By the way, even "Speed" was way better than "Constantine". Don't waste your money on that movie ticket. Go watch "Hitch", but if you do though, watch out for the language. I'm ultra conservative when it comes to that, but I didn't like some of the content in that movie. Nevertheless, ""Hitch" is great- especially if you like Will Smith.
Talk amongst yourselves.
God bless, Bonky
